Services for James Thomas Adams of 3940 Airways, formerly of Brownsville, Tenn., will be held at 3 Wednesday afternoon at the Springhill Methodist Church at Brownsville. Burial will be in the church cemetery, with Brownsville Funeral Home in charge.

Mr. Adams, a retired farmer, died Tuesday morning at John Gaston Hospital. He was 61.

He was born in Haywood County, and lived here until moving to Memphis two years ago. He was a Methodist.

He leaves his wife, Mrs. Kate Stuart Adams, ; four sons, Thomas Adams of Brownsville, Ben Adams and Blair Adams, both of Memphis, and Jimmie G. Adams of California; and two daughters, Mrs. Walter Blalock of Covington and Mrs. Johnnie Burns of Nashville.
