CHAMBERLAIN, Maine - Walter B. Tucker, Jr., a real southern gentleman, of Chamberlain, Maine and Bow, passed away on the morning of Sunday, June 19, 2011.

He was predeceased by his first wife, Margaret G. Tucker; and two sisters, Gene Ramsay and Peggie Tucker.

He is survived by his wife, G. June Tucker; three sons and their families, John G. Tucker and his wife Jen Tucker, Walter B. Tucker III and his wife Kathy, and Samuel H. Tucker and his wife Patty; four step-daughters and their families, Sherrie Tucker and husband William Lawton, Laurie Jakubowski and her husband Steve, Karen Tucker, and Sandra Johnson and her husband Alan; as well as a sister, Mary L. Tucker.

A private graveside service will be held for the family in the New Harbor Cemetery, New Harbor, Maine.

Arrangements are under the direction and care of the Strong-Hancock Funeral Home, 612 Main Street, Damariscotta, Maine.
