The Dannebrog News, Thursday, January 12, 1922, p. 1:
Ulric Isaacson was born in Boden, Sweden, Nov. 27, 1833. He was married in 1854 to Miss Anna Nordmark. To this union ten children were born, three of which died in infancy. His wife died in 1875.

Two years later, in 1877, he emigrated to America with his seven children, settling in Howard County, Nebraska. He lived here six years, then moving to Sherman County, residing near Rockville until the time of his death, Jan. 6, 1922.

In 1879 he married Mrs. Anna Abrahamson, who died eight years ago.

He leaves to mourn his death a sister in Arizona and a brother in Custer City, S. D., also five children, John and Edward of Rockville, Mrs. Oscar Wickstrom of Ogalalla, Nebr., Mrs. Chris Paulson of Pomona, Calif., Mrs. Jack Kjeldsen of Lake Andes, S. D.

Two daughters, Mrs. Charles Sundquist of Denver, Colo., and Mrs. Chris Nielsen of Rockville have passed away since his arrival in America.

He also leaves twenty grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.
