She was born in Watauga County, April 28,1889, to Amos and Susanna Greene Adams. She was a member of Brushy Fork Baptist Church.
Mrs. Moody is survived by one son, one daughter, two daughter-in-laws, two sisters, 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Brushy Fork Baptist Church. The body will lie in state from 10:30-11 a.m. at the church. Officiating will be the Reverends Ernest Richards and J. Ed Crump. Burial will follow in the Adams Cemetery.
Hampton Funeral Service is in charge of the arrangements.
