Molalla resident Carol Jean Aadland died on Feb. 25 at age 68; the cause of death was cancer.
She was born Carol Jean Kurtzman on May 19, 1942, in Portland, where she was raised.
She was a homemaker, as well as a caring and loving grandmother and a great friend.
Her hobbies included bingo, poker and jigsaw puzzles.
She is survived by: grandsons, Chris and Ross Aadland; granddaughters, Cheryl and Lora Aadland and Ashley Cooper; and close friends, Star Peterkin and Doug White.
Her husband, Darryl Dean Aadland, preceded her in death in 2001.
A private memorial service was held at Willamette National Cemetery.
Arrangements: Crown Memorial Center-Milwaukie.
