Luther Frank Warrick Jr., 90, of Blakely died Monday, Dec. 1, 2008, at Early Memorial Nursing Home.

Mr. Warrick was born in Early County May 7, 1918, to the late Luther Frank Warrick Sr. and Johnnie Ingram Warrick. He was a neon sign engineer and a member of Blakely First Baptist Church.


He was preceded in death by his wife, Mildred Thrash Warrick.

Survivors include a son, Luther F. Warrick III and wife Judy of McCormick, S.C.; two daughters, Janice Abercrombie of Macon and Alice Fowler and husband Luvon of Ft. Walton Beach, Fla.; 10 grandchildren; and 17 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are today, Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008, at 4 p.m. at the chapel of Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home with Dr. Alex Howell officiating. Interment will follow at Blakely Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Mr. Warrick's grandsons.

Manry-Jordan-Hodges Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
