Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, at Hulett-Winstead Chapel for Mr. Monte L. Aaron, 77, of Hattiesburg, who died, Saturday, March 19, 2011 at Forrest General Hospital.

Burial will be in Highland Cemetery with Military Honors and Masonic graveside rites.

Mr. Aaron was retired from Univar Chemical Corporation. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Hattiesburg; a veteran of the United States Air Force where he served during the Korean War, a 32nd Degree Mason and a Shriner in Galveston, TX. He was also a graduate of Lamar University in Beaumont, TX.

Mr. Aaron was preceded in death by one son, Robert DeMent Aaron and one daughter, Sandra Smith.

He is survived by his wife, Virginia "Jennie" Rhian DeMent Aaron of Hattiesburg; three granddaughters, Amy Sauls, Jennifer Bass and Colleen Brousard; two grandsons, Joey Aaron and Adam Smith; and eleven great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society and Shriner's Hospital for Children, 815 Market Street, Galveston, TX 77550-2725

Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
