MULLINVILLE - William J. "Willie" Abrams, 78, died July 9, 2008, at Veterans Administration Center, Long Beach, Calif. He was born June 9, 1930, at Cimarron, son of Elmer and Lenna (Pilkenton) Abrams.
He had served in the U.S. Navy from 1947 to 1951.
Survivors include: one son; four daughters; two brothers; one sister; 15 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Beatrice Iman.
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Wayne Cemetery, Lewis. Masonic rites will be conducted by Lewis Masonic Lodge, and military rites conducted by VFW Post No. 7349 and American Legion of Kinsley. Minnis Mortuary, Bucklin, is in charge of arrangements.
