Andy Richard Clark, 87, formerly of Harriman, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 8, 2010, in The Bridge at Rockwood.
Born April 15, 1923, off down Hwy. 58 in Roane County, he was the son of John Clark and Martha Powers. He was of Baptist faith. A self-employed electrician and general contractor, he was one of the first authorized TV repairmen in Roane County.
He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Martha Powers Clark; four brothers, John Clark, Morgan Clark, Jim Clark and Jesse Clark; and five sisters, Claude Miles, Pauline Vought, Bonnie Jo Letner, Bessie Clark and Maude Letner.
Survivors include five daughters and three sons-in-law, Melva and Tommy Boyd, Rockwood, Frances and Hubert Spray, Nashville, Dana Seiber and Judith and Jerry Clark, all of Kingston, and Patricia Smith, Western USA; two sons, Richard Clark, Mobile, Ala., and Albert Clark, Tennessee; a special step-son, Jason King, Harriman; eight grandchildren, Kalli Doyle, Misty Davis and Amanda Gunter, all of Kingston, Miranda Boyd and Ernie Bright, Rockwood, Jasper Boyd, Hubert, N.C., Fern Crutchfield, Sacha and Randall Lewis and Jennifer Spray all of Nashville; 11 great-grandchildren, Kaitlyn Davis, Sara Gunter and Eli Gunter, all of Kingston, Heather Doyle, Knoxville, Dylan Doyle, Puryear, Tenn., Clayton and Paije Bright, both of Rockwood, Nikki Crutchfield, Ashton Crutchfield, Mackenzie Lewis and Collin Lewis, all of Nashville; a brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Grada Clark, Harriman; a sister, Virginia Brumley, Kingston; a host of nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial donations to Operation REACH of Roane County, P.O. Box 981, Kingston, TN 37763.
Cremation Options Inc., Knoxville, is in charge of arrangements.
