Former resident Rebecca Albert dies

The funeral for Rebecca Marie Albert, 93, was Tuesday, Aug 8, at the Peet Mortuary Chapel in Lusk.

Mrs. Albert was born March 4, 1885 in Sweetwater County, Tenn. From 1900 to 1939 she lived in Lusk, and Married Eugene G. Albert here in 1917.

She belonged to the Order of Eastern Star while in Lusk, and was a member of the Baptist church.

Her husband died in 1964.

She is survived by three sons, Fred H. Albert of Cheyenne, Edwin Albert of Lusk and Arthur Albert of Sunnyvale Calif.; and eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Albert died in Salinas Aug. 4.

Officiating at the funeral was Rev. Ron Marshall. Music was provided by Minerva Watson, organist, and solos sung by Mark Lohr were "Peace in the Valley" and "In the Garden."

Pallbearers were Bill McDaniel, Jim Ross, Rick Finnel, Bill Harris, Clarence Moulton and Norman Finnel.

Interment was in the Lusk Cemetery.
