ABBOSH Robert Allen Abbosh, 50, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2011. He was born in Carmel, California on September 2, 1960; later moving to Michigan where he spent his childhood then moved to Jacksonville. He graduated from the University of North Florida and served as an officer in the US Army. He returned to Jacksonville where had resided since 1996 where he was employed in pharmaceutical sales management. He was a member of Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church, Ponte Vedra Beach. He was a patriot who loved God and his country. He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle and daughter Gabrielle; parents Jules and Norma Abbosh, brother Jules and his wife Tracy, brother Darwin, niece Andrea Abbosh Nafey, and nephew Jules 'Jay' Abbosh. Friends will be received Sunday, April 17th from 2:00-4:00pm in Quinn-Shalz Funeral Home, Jacksonville Beach. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m., Monday, April 18th in Our Lady Star of the Sea, Ponte Vedra Beach. Interment will follow in Ponte Vedra Valley Cemetery. The family suggests memorial contributions be made in Robert's name to Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church Building Fund, 545 A1A North, Ponte Vedra Beach, FL 32082.
