Funeral services for J. B. Adams, 69, of Columbia were held at 10 a.m. Sunday at the chapel of Riser and Son Funeral Home in Columbia with the Revs. Lavelle Crain and David Williams officiating.
Burial was in Adams Cemetery west of Kelly.
Mr. Adams died Friday afternoon in the Caldwell Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
Survivors include one aunt, Mrs. Sarah Meredith of Vidor, Tex. and one uncle, Gilbert Cox of Columbia.
Pallbearers were Harold Pentecost, Huey Gough, Ronnie Gough, Chester Stapleton, Willie Cox, and Bobby Starkey.
