Bertha Moon, 84, of Fayetteville, died January 22, 2011. Mrs. Moon was a member of New Hope Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, James Moon and her daughter, Wanda Moon.
She is survived by her son, David and Brenda Moon, Sr. of Athens, Georgia and daughter, Janet Behrens of Fayetteville; grandsons, David and Amy Moon, Jr. and Joe and Julie Moon, as well as five greatgrandchildren, all of Athens; sister, Helen Abbott of Fayetteville, and brother, Bobby and Barbara Rogers of Acworth.
Funeral service held January 24 in the Chapel of Mowell Funeral Home, Fayetteville with Rev. Wally Woodcock and Rev. Wilson Wallace officiating. Burial at Forest Lawn Memorial Gardens.
