Bob was involved in building numerous dams and nuclear plants across the United States during his 40 years in the construction business. He was a member of Masons, Veterans of Foreign Wars, Shriners, and the National Rifle Association. In his spare time, Bob enjoyed hunting, fishing, NASCAR, gunsmithing, and spending time with his friends and family.
Surviving Bob are his wife of 43 years, Joyce Gentry of Pleasant View; his children, Kelly Vick and husband Bill of Meridian, Idaho, Jeff Gentry of Cortez, Carol Duran and husband Tim of Dolores, and Shelly McPherson and husband Wes of Norman, Okla.; his grandchildren, Beau, Mallorye, Kiersten, Cierra, and Miaya Duran, Josh, Kilee and Ryan Gentry, Gary and Jentri McPherson, and Shawna and Laura Vick; and his siblings, Dorothy Friend of Boise, Idaho, and Jim Gentry and wife Linda of Boise.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Cremation has taken place, and services are pending at this time.
