GLENDYN IDELL GROUNDS ABBOTT, 91, Mooresville, died Feb. 13. She was a sales clerk 20 years for J.C. Penney, retiring in 1970. She was a member of Mooresville First Christian Church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Morgan County Community Foundation. Services: 10 a.m. Feb. 17 in Carlisle & Son Funeral Chapel, Mooresville, with calling from 4 to 9 p.m. Feb. 16. Burial: Mooresville Cemetery.

She was the widow of Fred Harrison Abbott. Survivors: son Leo L. "Jack" Abbott; three grandchildren; a stepgrandchild; four great-grandchildren.
