Waits, Dora D. Our precious Mom went home to be with her Lord on January 20, 2010. Born April 15, 1923 in Mt. Pleasant, TX, and married Johnie Waits January 18, 1941. Preceded in death by husband Johnie; son, David; grandson, Roy Jr.; granddaughter, Theresa; great-granddau-ghter, Brandy; father and mother, Levi and Florine Bishop and seven brothers. Survived by: son, J.T. Waits; daughters, Doris and husband Jerry Whitaker, Stella (Blue Bird) and husband Dennis Cozby, Debra and husband Bill Anders; sisters, Aline White, Bobbie and husband Byron Lamb, Doris and husband Charles Newsom; 15 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchild-ren and a host of friends. You were the best little Mom, Grandma, and Mamie and we will miss you so, but we know you're dancing and picking flowers in Heaven. In celebration of our Mom, visitation, Sunday, 2:00 until 5:00, Grove Hill Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held, 2:00 PM, Monday, January 25, 2010, Grove Hill Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Grove Hill Memorial Park. Thank you Town East Rehab and Hospice Plus for your loving care.
