Mrs. A. Elizabeth Abbott Mrs. A. Elizabeth Abbott of 507 Toledo Street, widow of J. B. Abbott, died Saturday at 2:30 p.m. in Bixby hospital where she was admitted at 10 a.m. after suffering a stroke of paralysis. She had been in failing health the last few months. Mrs. Abbott was 74 years old. Born Feb. 23, 1873 in Tecumseh, Mrs. Abbott lived in Chicago many years, coming to Adrian from that city six years ago. She was preceded in death by her husband J. B. Abbott, who died 11 years ago. Surviving her are two sisters, Mrs. Millie Decker and Mrs. Tillie Brighton, one brother, Edward Fisher, and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Abbott was a member of St. John's Lutheran church and the Ladies Aid Society of that church. She was also a member of the Needle craft club. The funeral services will be Tuesday at 4 p.m. in the Everiss Funeral Home, the Rev. A. H. Baer of St. Stephen's church officiating in the absence from the city of the Rev. E. F. Manske. The burial will be in the family lot in St. John's cemetery.
