Funeral services for Noah L. Stanley, 76, who died in a nursing home Thursday, will be held at 2 o'clock tomorrow in the Stokes chapel, Renton. Burial will be in Mount Olivet.
Mr. Stanley, of Renton, was a retired farmer and laborer. He first came to the Renton area in 1937. He lived in Walla Walla from 1947 to 1953.
Mr. Stanley was born in Dickenson County, Virginia. He farmed about 23 years near Mapleton, Iowa. His wife, Lydia, died in 1919.
Survivors are two daughters, Mrs. Ray Denny, Renton, and Mrs. Mary L. Hansen, Mapleton, Iowa; four sons, Clifford Stanley of Kent, Essie and Edward Stanley, Renton, and Joseph Stanley, San Jose, Calif.; 21 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

NOTE: Mr. Stanley's death certificate shows he was buried in Greenwood Memorial Park, not Mount Olivet. This was brought to my attention by Debby (Haase) McLean (47069262)
