Daniel M. Berkenbile
Services for Daniel M. Berkenbile, 84, of 1218 W. 7th St., Davenport, will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Runge Mortuary, Davenport. Burial will be in Davenport Memorial Park.
Visitation is today at the mortuary.
Mr. Berkenbile died Sunday at Mercy Hospital.
He had been employed for 38 years at the Rock Island Arsenal, retiring 13 years ago.
Mr. Berkenbile was born in Sedalia, Mo. He married Maude Rehmel in 1910 in Muscatine. She died in 1968. He married Violetta Coon in 1970 in Davenport.
Surviving are the widow; a daughter, Mrs. Eva Lummer, Quincy; two sons, Warren, Bettendorf, and Clarence, Davenport; 12 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren, and a brother, Andrew, Oklahoma City, Okla.
