Kenneth Emberton 75 of Vine Grove, KY passed away Wednesday January 31, 2007 at Kindred Hospital, Louisville, KY. Mr. Emberton was retired from the United States Army after 26 years of service. His memberships include: Mill Creek Baptist Church, Radcliff, KY where he was a deacon for 11 years and chairman of deacons for 5 years, he was a proud member of AA for 35 years, State Secretary of AA for 3 years and a Kentucky Colonel. He is survived by: His wife of 53 years Glenda Emberton of Vine Grove, KY 3 sons Thomas Reid Emberton of San Luis Obispo, CA Kenneth Earl Emberton II of Fayetteville, NC Gary Lee Emberton (Denise) of Elizabethtown, KY 6 grandchildren: Jenevieve, Kenneth Earl III, Kerry, Jacob, Luke and Natalee 1 brother Robert Bruce Emberton of Greenwood, IN 1 sister Carmen Gay Hacker of Bayou, LA Funeral Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday February 3, 2007 at Mill Creek Baptist Church, Radcliff, KY with Dr. Jim Shaw officiating. Burial will be in North Hardin Memorial Gardens with military honors. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 P.M. Friday and after 10 a.m. Saturday at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY.
