SOUX FALLS - Patricia Ann Aaberg, 57, of 1817 S. Grandview Ave., died Tuesday Oct. 17, 2000, at Covington Heights Care Center.


Patricia Ann Farrell was born Nov. 24, 1942, in Sioux Falls. She grew up and attended schools in the city, graduating from Washington High School in 1960.


She married Allen Aaberg on Feb. 28, 1969, in Chamberlain. The couple lived in Sioux Falls, then moved to Excelsior, Minn. for one year. They returned to Sioux Falls, where she graduated from Stewart's School of Hairstyling in 1973. She did hairstyling out of her home, and worked as a homemaker. She began work at Citibank in 1984, in the new business verifications department. She suffered from a severe stroke 1994, and after living at home under the care of family, moved to Covington Heights Care Center in 2000.


She was associated with Grace Lutheran Church and attended Senior Day Break at the Center for Active Generations.


Survivors include her husband, Allen; a son, Alvin of Sioux Falls; two daughters: Michelle Nimick and Wendy Wineinger, both of Sioux Falls; four grandchildren; and a brother, William of Hartford.


Services begin at 2 p.m. Friday at Grace Lutheran Church with burial in Hills of Rest Memorial Park.


Visitation begins at 11 a.m. today at George Boom Funeral Home with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m.


Memorials may be directed to the American Heart Association, American Diabetes Association, or the Animal League.
