Mrs. W. S. Abbott Dead
Mrs. W. S. Abbott died at her home Friday afternoon about 2:30 o'clock following a cerebral hemorrhage Thursday night at midnight from which she never rallied. She had been in good health previous to her last illness and her death was a shock to her family and friends.

Anna Elizabeth Heberly was born March 23, 1869 in Nelson, Nebraska, where her earlier life was spent. She was married in 1885 to W. S. Abbott in Nelson and to this union were born five children. Two died in infancy. Mrs. Julia Simmons passed away in 1914. About 25 years ago Mr. and Mrs. Abbott came to Seneca to make their home. They have spent a few years in Nebraska since that time but have lived here continuously the past fourteen years.

Mrs. Abbott was a home-loving woman and a good mother. She was kind and thoughtful and will be sadly missed by her loved ones. Besides her husband, she is survived by her daughter, Clarice at home, one son, Oliver J. Abbott, who lives at Humboldt, Nebr. and one grandson Clyde Ernest Simmons, whose address is unknown.

Funeral services were held from the home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Mrs. E. P. Taylor, Blanche McKee and Irene Riffer sang two numbers. Rev. L. B. Prutit was in charge. Interment was in the city cemetery. The pallbearers were T. E. Clowe, John Taylor, Ed Fisher, Jack Cleman, C. A. Myers and August Barker.
