Mrs. Evelyn A. Rady was the daughter of the late Joseph Sr. and Ida Mae (Silliman) Cozzy. She was reared and educated in Crawfordsville, IN.

She married Kenneth Warren Rady on Dec. 13, 1941, in Danville, Ill. Mr. Rady died on Sept. 28, 1982.

Mrs. Rady worked for RCA for 25 years, retiring in 1985, and moved to New Port Richie, Fla. She moved back to Indiana in 1995, and baby-sat for several families in the community.

She was a woman devoted to her family. As a devoted wife, mother and grandmother, she enjoyed her children and grandchildren and their activities. She liked traveling and playing euchre, and loved to watch wrestling on television.

Mrs. Rady was a dedicated member of Barnabas Catholic Church in Indianapolis, and attended St. Joseph Catholic Church in Lebanon while living here.

Survivors include seven children, Frankie A. (Lou) Rady of Hudson, Fla., Suzy Mares of Lebanon, Billy R. Rady of Beebe, Ark., Joe (Marcia) Rady of Lebanon, Debbie (Mike) Martin of Thorntown, Patty (Tim) Kegley of Indianapolis and Cindy (Frank) Pegram of Largo, Fla.; one sister, Grace Dulin of Indianapolis; and 17 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda Rady; three brothers, Jim Cozzy, Joe Cozzy and Melvin Cozzy; two sisters, Joanne Aaron and Ruth Cozzy; and one grandson.
