She was born in Hamilton County to the late George and Julie Lewis Ables, and was preceded in death by her sisters, Pearl Lane, Naomi Grant, Addie Dougan, Gladys Johnson, Mary Etta Proctor; brothers, Coy, Creed and Clarence Ables.
Louise was a resident of NHC of Fort Oglethorpe. Mrs. Roberts retired from Brock Candy Co. after 40 years of service where she was affectionly known as "mother" to her friends and co-workers.
Survivors include her son, James "Jimmy" Lowery; grandsons, Pete and Michael Lowery; several nieces and nephews; and many friends.
A memorial service may be held at a later date.
