Levi Abbott was a minister in New Ipswitch NH but poor health drove him into early retirement. He returned to Hollis NH before 1860 and lived at 27 Main Street until his death. He was very active in the Hollis School System, being both on the Supervisory Committee and the first Hillis School Board of 1886.
