Obituary:
Mrs. Jane (Cook) Alley, widow of the late Cyrus P Alley, died at the home of her son, Joe Alley Saturday morning. Her death was due to complications from which she had been suffering for a few weeks. The family realized her condition was extremely critical and her death was not unexpected. Mrs. Alley, 71, was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Cook. Her father died in 1897 and later her mother married Richard Abernathy and she died January 11, 1929. Mr. Alley's death took place two years ago. She is survived by three daughters and four sons, Mrs. George Graff, Mrs. Albe Anderson, Mrs. Margaret Brankle, Joe Alley, Ed Alley, John Alley and Dan Alley. She is also survived by one brother, John Cook and several grandchildren.
