The Craigville native retired in 1970 from Lincoln National Life Insurance Co. after 18 years of service. She was a member of St. Peter's Catholic Church, Columbian Ladies and a lifetime resident.
Surviving are a stepdaughter, Reina M. Gladieux of Fort Wayne; a brother, Richard Abbott of Fort Wayne; sisters Mariam Harriss of Fort Wayne, Connie Laisure of New Haven and Betty Elzey of Valdosta, Ga.; eight stepgrandchildren; and 19 stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stephen B., in 1988, three stepchildren, three brothers and two sisters.
Mass of Christian Burial is 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter's Catholic Church, 518 E. Dewald St., with calling a half hour before services. Calling is also from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, with a 3:30 p.m. rosary service at Tom Mungovan Funeral Home, 2221 S. Calhoun St. Burial will be at Greenlawn Memorial Park.
