David Hodge Aabel, 72, passed away Sunday, August 28, 2011 in Clatonia, Nebraska. David was born January 17, 1939 in St. Louis, Missouri to Lloyd & Josephine (Pierce) Aabel.
David graduated from Phillipsburg High School in Phillipsburg, Kansas. David married Charlene E. Smith in 1974; she preceded him in death on March 12, 2010. David served in the U.S. Army. He worked as a custodian for Hastings High School and was a member of Saint Mark's Episcopal Pro-Cathedral Church. David's hobby was model railroad trains.
David was preceded in death by his parents; and wife, Charlene E. Aabel.
