Survivors included his wife Frances I. Maready of the home, son, Jay B. Maready of Wilmington, NC, daughter, Lucinda M. Crawford of Kenansville, NC. Two sisters; Sadie Oliver of Pine Level, NC and Helen Abbott of Winterville, NC. Two grandchildren.
