Salvatore Abbeduto Jr., age 70, U.S. Army Veteran, of LaPorte, passed away Friday, September 16, 2011.
Beloved husband of late Pamela M. Abbeduto (nee Potter); loving father of Salvatore E. Abbeduto, III, Charles E. (Crystal) Abbeduto, Sharon (Mark) Peters, Arthur Abbeduto, Phillip Abbeduto and Denise Abbeduto-Jones; proud grandfather of 12; devoted son of late Salvatore and late Lena Abbeduto (nee Tramaluto); cherished brother of two; and fond uncle of numerous nieces and nephews.
Salvatore retired after 34 years with Western Railroad. He was also a big fan of wrestling. Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, September 21, 2011 at 1:00 PM at the Danville National Cemetery Chapel, Danville, IL. Interment to follow. Friends are invited to meet with the family on Tuesday from 3:00 PM until evening Service at 7:30 PM with Rev. Richard Orlinski, Pastor officiating at LaHayne Funeral Home, 6955 Southeastern Ave., Hammond, IN. Please omit flower. Contributions to the family would be appreciated.
