RAYVILLE, March 30 (Special) — Willie L. Allen, Sr., 38, was killed on an oil rig 60 miles south of Morgan City in the Gulf of Mexico Wednesday.

Time of the funeral has not been set but the service will be held at the Archibald Baptist Church with Rev. Blow officiating. Interment will be in Lone Cherry Cemetery under the direction of Mulhearn Funeral Home of Rayville.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Cornelia Allen of Rayville; three daughters, Betty Fay Allen, Shirley Mae Allen, and Judy Dianne Allen all of Rayville; one son, William L. Allen Jr.; four step-children, Elsie Arron, Grace Allen, both of Rayville, Billy Arron of Shreveport, and James Arron of the U.S. Navy; his mother, Mrs. Florence Allen of Rayville; three sisters, Mrs. Katie Smith, and Mrs. Joyce Hanson both of Rayville, and Mrs. Betty Alford of Ca[r]thage, Miss.; four brothers, Jim Allen, Thurman Allen, Andy Allen and Frank Allen, all of Rayville.

The body will lie in state at the home of Andy Allen of Rayville until time of the service.
