SHUBAEL ABBE, son of Abner and Sarah (Swetland) Abbe, born June 17, 1793, in Longmeadow, Mass.; died in Norwalk, Ohio, January 26, 1889. After his marriage he removed to Conneaut, Ohio, where he bought a small farm. He spent the last of his life in Norwalk with his son, Aaron, In 1850 he was living in Conneaut with his wife, his son, Chester, at home. In the same house were his daughter-in-law, Maria, with her two children. Married December 25, 1816, SARAH SANFORD of Litchfield, Conn., born about 1798.
