Darrell P. Chronister, 57, of Lavaca died Saturday, May 27, 2000, in a local hospital. He was an employee of Whirlpool Corp. for 38 years, a member of First Baptist Church of Lavaca and a Navy veteran.Funeral will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church of Lavaca with burial at Mayberry Cemetery in Lavaca under the direction of Lewis Funeral Chapel of Lavaca.He is survived by his wife, Connie; three sons, Ryan of DeQueen and Chad and Chip, both of Lavaca; one sister, Bobbie Lou Martin of Lavaca; and three brothers, Joe, Dennis and James Robert, all of Lavaca.Pallbearers will be Ronnie and Kelly Chronister, Nick Hobbs, Justin Wingfield, Brad Ward and Jamie Patterson.SOURCE: "The Times Record Obituary Archives."
