Peg was an active and longtime member of the Lewinsville Presbyterian Church, founding member of McLean Community Center and a retired math teacher at Langley High School. She was also a longtime resident of Westminster at Lake Ridge supporting numerous causes.
Peg was the beloved wife of the late John L. Aalfs and Edgar E. Poulton; loving and devoted mother of Patricia L. Poulton of Arlington, VA, Mark W. Poulton and his wife, Connie of Dalton, OH and Elizabeth A. Quackenbush and her husband, Wayne of Lorton, VA; proud grandmother of Andy, Natalie, David, Brendan, Nicole and Jillian.
A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, September 14, 11 a.m. at Westminster at Lake Ridge Retirement Community's Main Building, 12191 Clipper Drive, Lake Ridge, VA 22192, with a reception to follow. Inurnment at Lewinsville Cemetery will be private.
