Lyons, GA -- Mr. Marcus Darrell Aaron, age 53 of Lyons, died Monday, November 7, 2011 at home after a brief illness. He was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, and previously was employed at Rural Gas, Meeks Construction, Tim's Dirt Work, and Todd's Custom Tile Work. He formerly attended Fairview Baptist Church in Lyons, and was preceded in death by his father, Ira Aaron in 2009; and a sister, Carol Ann Aaron.
Mr. Aaron is survived by his wife, Annette L. Aaron of Lyons; three daughters, Tabbatha Faircloth and husband Wayne of Lyons, Fran Faircloth and husband David of Oak Park, and Jessica Aaron of Metter; one son, Zachary Kelly of Lyons; his mother, Jeanette Mason Aaron of Lyons; one brother, Ira Mitchell Aaron of Vidalia; one niece, Kristy Aaron Furr of the Johnson's Corner Community; twelve grandchildren, Kali, Kolby, Jake, Laura, Westley, Ely, Michael, Ariana, Lexy, Topanga, Yasmine, and Conner, and several aunts uncles, and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 10th at 11:00 am in the chapel of Ronald V. Hall Funeral Home with Pastor Glenn Russell officiating. Interment will follow in the Lyons City Cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 8:00.
