Funeral services will be held at Hammon, Okla., pending arrival of relatives.

Funeral services for Mrs. Oscar (Retta) Creswell, who died in Hodges Nursing Home on Christmas day, will be conducted from the Martin Funeral Home Chapel Thursday, Dec. 27, at 10:30 a.m. with Rev. Walter Jolly officiating. Burial will follow in the Fairlawn cemetery.(See note at end)
Mrs. Creswell was born July 3, 1899, in Hammon.(sic) She was 74. She was a lifelong resident(sic) of western Oklahoma, living in the Hammon area in her early life. She was married to Oscar Creswell Dec. 20, 1920, at Canadian, Tex. They lived in Sayre for a while before moving to Elk City in 1956 where they operated a rest home for 7 years before ill health forced her retirement.
She was a member of Eastside Baptist church, the Eastern Star at Hammon and the Rebekahs.
Survivors include her husband, Oscar; 4 sons, T. A. of Hammon, Harold of Elk City, J. D. of Oklahoma City and Kenneth of Burbank, Calif.; a daughter, Mrs. Marie Long of Hammon; 20 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren; also 3 brothers, Blen Ackley, Auburn, Calif., Hammon Ackley, Elk City, and Buford Ackley of Dill City.
