Elsie first married Lester Cline on September 6, 1928 in Atchinson, Kansas. Lester and Elsie had no children together and he passed away in 1940. She later married William F. Turner on June 29, 1941 in Falls City, Nebraska. Elsie and William had two children together. He passed away January 20, 1970.
At the time of her death, Elsie was survived by her son; her brother; her sister; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, both husbands, her daughter, and a great-grandson.
