Mabel I. Bruns, 94, of Lake Village, Ind., died Saturday (Feb. 24, 2007). Visitation will be from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today at the Sheets Funeral Home, 604 E. Commercial Ave., Lowell, Ind., where services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday. Pastor DuWayne Hintz will officiate.

Burial will follow in Lake Village Cemetery.

Surviving are two daughters-in-law, Oma Bruns and Ellie Eckhoff; and seven grandchildren, Catherine Fiegle, Valerie De Beneditto, Tom Eckhoff, Trudy Wertman, Troy Bruns, Trista Daly, and Trent Bruns.

Deceased are her husband, Alvin; two sons, Allen "Butch" and Albert "Bud"; one daughter, Patsy; and brothers and sisters.
