Mrs. Leonard Anderson and New Born Baby Die at Wheatland

Mrs. Regina Marie Anderson, wife of Leonard Anderson, bookkeeper with the Hern Chevrolet company of Douglas passed away Sunday morning in Wheatland following the birth of her baby. The baby also died.

Mrs. Anderson was an only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Homer W. Gard of Chugwater. She was born at Havelock, Neb., October 6, 1912. She was on her 27th year at the time of her death.

The Andersons came to Douglas a little over a year ago and had gained a large following of friends during this short time. They had been married about four years. Mrs. Anderson had been in Wheatland several weeks under the care of a Wheatland doctor.

Many Douglas friends went to Wheatland Wednesday morning for the funeral. The choir of St. James church attended and sang at the services. Among those in attendance were Mr. and Mrs. Harry Widholm, Mr. and Mrs. Robert McCabe, Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Larson, Harvey Churchill and Clem Hern, all of the Chevrolet garage, Mr. and Mrs. Scott Layton, Mrs. Young, Mrs. McKenna, Mrs. A. W. Cook, Mrs. Veldon Saul, Mrs. Henry Reese, Mrs. George Arnold and Mrs. W. B. Musch.
