Robert J. Floyd, 75, died at 4:25 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 1985, at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, Ind.

He was born Dec. 3, 1909 at Boonville, Ind., and resided in Frot Branch. Floyd was a retired Chrysler employee and formerly owned a dry-cleaning business in Fort Branch. He was a member of the General Baptist Church and Fort Branch Masonic Lodge No. 696.

Preceding in death were his parents, Joseph Floyd and Louna (Byers) Floyd.

Surviving are his wife, Margaret (Montgomery) Floyd; two daughters, Mrs. Earl (Sharron) Miley of Haubstadt, Ind. and Mrs. Linda Reineri of High Ridge, Mo. and a son, Joe Downey Floyd of Carlsbad, Calif.; and five grandchildren and a great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Stodghill Funeral Home, 304 W. Locust St., Fort Branch, with the Rev. A.C. Weir and the Rev. Jack Eberhardt officiating. Burial will be in Walnut Hill Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m Saturday.

Masonic services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
