Lester A. Acheson
Lester A. Acheson, 74, 2117 Haskett, died Tuesday, Feb. 3, at St. John's Hospital.
Mr. Acheson was born April 1, 1912, in Palco. He retired after 30 years with Union Pacific Railroad. He and his wife, Ruth, also were houseparents for young handicapped adults in Salina and Wichita. He was a member of the Faith Assembly of God Church and the Maintenance of Way Employees.
Survivors include his wife of the home; a son, Dennis of Springfield, Mo.; two brothers, Olen of Morland and Gerald of Aurora, Colo.; and one grandson.
Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
