Elizabeth Abshire, 53 of DeQuincy, LA passed away on Saturday, December 3 2011 at a local hospital.
Elizabeth was a member of the Northside Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, fishing, hunting and working on her computer. She was a wonderful wife, mother and grandmother and loved her grandchildren dearly.
Elizabeth is survived by her husband of DeQuincy; two daughters and sons-in-law of DeQuincy, one step-daughter and husband of Lafayette; step-son and wife of New Iberia; two sisters and brothers-in-law; and six grandchildren.
Funeral Services were Tuesday, December 6, 2011 at the Northside Baptist Church. Burial followed at Oak Grove Cemetery in Hornbeck, LA.
Services were under the direction of Hixson Snider Funeral Home of DeQuincy.
