March 4, 1924 – December 22, 2011
Our beloved mother, Virginia Kathryn Nazworth (87), passed on peacefully in her sleep on December 22nd. She will be missed deeply by all whose lives she touched. Her capacity to love and give to her family is unmatched in this world. She was a loving mother who created a warm secure home for all of her children. We are eternally grateful and better adults through her guidance.
Born on March 4th, 1924 in Council Bluffs Iowa to immigrant Sicilian parents, Virginia was the only daughter of Catherine and Joseph Solo. Her 3 brothers all preceded her in death. She married our father William C. Nazworth on January 19th, 1945 and embarked on the life of a Marine's wife, a badge she wore with pride and honor. She bore him 5 children, three daughters and two sons; Kathleen Cluck of North Carolina, Barbara Nazworth of Virginia, Donna Roper of Arizona, Bill Nazworth of California and Gerard Nazworth of California who passed away on June 10th of this year. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren.
Her final resting place will be with our father at Riverside National Cemetery. They are together once again.
