He married Mary Lou Wynn on November 30, 1962 in Houston.
He was a member of West End Baptist Church and the Reagan Lodge 1037. He was also an avid bowler.
He died October 6, 1982 in Austin, Travis Co., TX.
Predeceased by first wife Gladys, and granddaughter Daphne Diane Shea. Survived by second wife Mary, daughter,son and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
