Unable to locate Mary on a 1930 Census, however her sister and younger brother are living with their older brother Ray and his wife in Monroe, Ouachita Parish.
Mary married Cecil Rhodes Preston February 25,1937 in Union Co., AR. They are on the 1940 Census Johnson, Union Co., AR. with one year old daughter Patricia.
Little more of her life is known until she married Felton Davenport on November 30, 1962, in Houston,Harris Co.,TX. They were married almost 20 years before he died in 1982.
She then lived with her sister and her husband for a few years. Later she and her sister Joanne Tackett lived in a Nursing Home in Webster, TX. She died on Thanksgiving day , November 23,2006 at the age of 96.
She was a member of West End Baptist Church and the Eastern Star.
She was predeceased be her husband and her brothers Ray S. Wynn buried in Galveston Memorial Park Cemetery. Hitchcock, Galveston Co, TX.and Russell Wynn. Survived by a daughter and grandchildren, and her sister Joanne Tackett.
She is buried in Memorial Oaks Cemetery, Houston TX.
