Services Held Sunday for Wilson Abbott :

Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon at the Baptist Church here for Wilson Abbott, who died Thursday night at his home here. Rev. Clay Deaver was the minister and burial was in Mt. Auburn Cemetery. He was 62 years of age.

Mr. Abbott was born August 12, 1896 at Nachusa, Ill., to Amzi and Martha ( Miller ) Abbott. Before moving to Colchester he had lived in Rock Island.

He and his wife had operated a restaurant here for the past 27 years.

He married Alice Smith, who survives, on Oct., 1, 1913.

He was a member of the Colchester Baptist Church.

Also surviving are two daughters, Mrs. George Butterfield of Blandinsville and Mrs. George Naylor of Glasford, one brother, John Abbott of Friendship, Wis., two sisters, Mrs. Grace Janssen and Mrs Mary Janssen, both of Nelson, Ill. Seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survie.

The services were directed by Jones Mortuary.
