SULLIVAN - Gladys F. Abbott, 80, of Sullivan died at 1:40 a.m. Wednesday (Aug 31, 1988) in St. Mary's Hospital, Decatur.
The funeral will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at McMullin-Young Funeral Home, Sullivan. Burial will be in Camfield Cemetery, Rural Sullivan. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
She was born Aug. 26, 1908, in Shelby County, the daughter of Frank and Grave Cox Nolen. She married Charles Abbot, Aug. 4, 1944, in Decatur/. He preceded her in death July 3, 1980.
Surviving are one son, Gary Abbott of Sullivan, one sister, Mrs. Bruce (Maude) Smith of Windsor and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
