Mr. Earlie Columbus Aaron, 85, of 1145 Conley St., Winston-Salem, died Sunday, April 3, 2005, at Forsyth Medical Center.

He was born Dec. 1, 1919, in Stokes County to Columbus M. and Lucy Smith Aaron.

Mr. Aaron served with the U.S. Army during World War II and retired from Camel City Laundry.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Frances T. Aaron; a daughter, Edna Potter; and a son, Jerry L. Aaron.

Survivors include two sons, Robert Aaron and wife Phyllis of Yadkinville and John W. Aaron and wife Patricia of Rural Hall; two daughters, Ramona Flynt and husband Roy of Yadkinville and Carolyn Luper and husband Roy of Winston-Salem; a sister-in-law, Cheryl Aaron, of Danbury; 15 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 6, at Gardens of Memory in Walkertown. Roy E. Flynt will officiate. The family will receive friends from 7 to 9 tonight, April 5, at Vogler & Sons Reynolda Road Chapel. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff on fifth floor west at Forsyth Medical Center, especially Krystal, for their love and care during Mr. Aaron's stay there.
