Alex Adamson was born and grew up at Corydon, Ind., and married Elizabeth Cline also of Corydon. In March, 1908, they left their home state and with their sons, Clem, Bert, Lon, Oren, and a married son Corda and wife Elva they moved to Parkman, Wyo., where Mrs. Adamson's brother, John (Cline), lived. In March 1911 they moved near Epsie, Montana, on the Mizpah where they homesteaded. When they all came from Wyoming the creeks were all running deep, including Hanging Woman near the O. W. Ranch. At one place they thought Elva was in a wagon but she was walking and ran to catch up and reached for the wagon and missed it and fell into the creek. Corda and Elva stayed with the Grant Banes on 10 Mile before deciding to homestead near his father. Elizabeth died in 1917 and Alex died a few years later in Kentucky. ### "Echoing Footsteps.
