MRS. IDA SCHOLES OF ST. JOE DIES AT DAUGHTER'S HOME

Mrs. Ida Scholes Williams, 78, lifelong resident of St. Joe, died at 5:22 o'clock Friday morning at the home of her daughter, Mrs. William Refner, 113 East Jefferson street, Auburn, where she had been for the last five weeks. Death was attributed to complications. Mrs. Williams had been ill since last July.

The deceased was born at St. Joe Jan. 12, 1864. In 1891 she was married to Willard Williams, who passed away April 14 of this year. On Sept. 23. 1941. Mr. and Mrs. Williams observed their golden wedding anniversary.

Survivors are three sons, Mark, Howard and Frank Williams, all of St. Joe; three daughters, Mrs. Hugh Wood of Saginaw. Mich., Mrs. Elmer McKay of Hammond, and Mrs. Reiner in Auburn; one brother, Rev. J. N. Scholes of St. Joe: nine grandchildren, and seven great-grandchildren.

The services were held Sunday afternoon at the St. Joe Christian church. Rev. Erby Messimer officiated and interment was made in Alton cemetery, east of St. Joe.
